What to Wear

The Windward's temperate climate invites the casual clothes of summer, an no-press frabrics are ideal for both men and women who like to travel light. Swim suits and bikinis are not appropriate to wear in town. Bring two swimsuits or more swimsuits and, even if you are a seasoned sunner, some cover-ups for coping with the Caribbean's ultra violet. Night life in St. Marteen is rather informal, though a sport coat, evening sweater or stole is right for the casinos and dining rooms and for cool evenings.
