Credit Cards
Credit cards are accepted by virtually every shop and restaurant, and most hotels. Visitors should check in advance to ascertain which properties accept credit cards.
Currency
The currency of the Netherlands Antilles is the guilder (NAf). The official rate at which the bank accepts US dollar bank-notes is NAf 1,77; checks at NAf 1,79. Traveller's checks and US dollars are widely accepted. The rate of exchange granted by most of the shops and hotels ranges from NAf 1,75 to NAf 1,80.
