April 17 - May 3 in Dutch St. Marteen. Celebration include the election of the Calypso King and the Carnival Queen, parades, and lots of music and merriment.

French national holiday includes parades, sporting contests and fireworks. (July)

St. Marteen's Day |
Dutch and Fench dignitaries gather at the border to commemorated the 1648 agreement which devided the island between Holland and France. Island celebrations include parades.
