Credit cards are accepted by virtually every shop and restaurant, and most hotels. Visitors should check in advance to ascertain which properties accept credit cards.
Currency
St. Lucia's currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar (EC): one US$ is equivalent to EC $2.65. US currency is readily accepted on the island.
