Public Beaches
All of Montserrat's beaches are located along the Caribbean coast. Nature's replacement is quickly
repairing the damages of the 1995 hurricanes and once again, there is a choice between the black
volcanic sand beaches and the more remote, lovely white sand beach.

Sugar Bay |
Located south of Plymouth, this is a long strip.

Fox's Bay |
A lovely, secluded beach within the Bird Sanctuary, it's frequently used for barbecue and other
family and group gatherings. Check whether the Rotary or other such organization might have one
of their special events. It is well worth attending.

Isles Bay |
At the foot of Isles Bay hill, this is the southernmost end of a beach that stretches along the golf
course and ends at.

Old Road Bay |
A popular beach with visitors and Montserratians, this beach is protected by a long jetty which
makes it a haven for sail boats, watersports and small children splashing in the gentle waves.
