An authentic island plantation. Built out of colorful stones from a nearby river, the walls at the Plantation House are 2 1/2 to 3 feet thick. Each stone was hauled from the river in wooden, ox-drawn carts and hand-chiselled for the perfect fit. The pointing around them and all interior walls are plastered with a mixture of molasses and white lime. Morne Fendue Plantation House provides guests with a glimpse of the "Spice Isle's" heritage.
