The property does not have a beach of its own (the nearest public beach is Shelly Bay, a mile west) but has two nice small pools on a clifftop overlooking the ocean.

The way the two pools are structured, with the villas on the cliff side directly overlooking the ocean, and marine views from every vantage point, make this a place to consider seriously for a quiet, romantic, Bermuda "get-away" vacation. One of its many advantages is that it is exactly halfway between the city of Hamilton and the town of St. George, only seven minutes by bus or taxi from Bermuda International Airport.

Everything about this colony of pink cottages, with its main clubhouse overlooking the ocean, is very pleasant. The landscaping is very attractive. It is one of the nicest places to watch the sun set into the ocean. In October, 1995, Clearview opened up on its property as a restaurant a beautiful old Bermuda home with distinctive architecture. Under the name of the Landfall Restaurant, it is an elegant yet casual place. It was once the private home of a famous Bermudian architect, the late Donald Kirkpatrick. If you elect to eat outside, it has stunning ocean views from the porch. But if you're in a romantic mood, you'll appreciate the several intimate Bermuda-style internal architectural features, with their nooks and crannies to give you some privacy.
